In the
Museum and Archives
sections of this site you can access information according
to record type (by choosing a category) or key word (by typing
a term in the text search field.) In the "Vignettes"
section additional specifications can be added to your search
terms.
However, for general interest searches you can simply leave
all the fields blank and press the "submit" button in order
to receive a list of every record in your chosen section of
the database.
The "Plus"
section of the site is where you will find links to related
web resources.
Many of
the Jewish religious and ritual art terms used in this site
are explained in a glossary
which is linked to the "Glossary of terms" button
at the bottom of some pages. You can access this glossary
by clicking here.
The glossary is also available in a French
version. The window in which the glossary opens can be
re-sized by pulling on its borders, and can be closed when
no longer needed.
